Puri Jagannadh has finally announced that he's not going to make a sequel to Mahesh Babu, Kajal starrer Businessman. Earlier this year, when Businessman turned out to be a blockbuster, both Mahesh Babu and Puri Jagannadh were so excited that they announced that they would team up once again for a sequel to Businessman. However, Puri Jagannadh has told a leading Telugu newsdaily that he's not making a sequel; however, he added that he's going to write a new story keeping Mahesh Babu in mind. Currently, he's shooting Pawan Kalyan's Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu and after that he's likely to start a film with Allu Arjun in lead role. This means that his film with Mahesh Babu might take off in 2013. Meanwhile, his next film Devudu Chesina Manushulu starring Ravi Teja and Ileana is going to hit the screens on August 15.

Allari Naresh, Monal Gajjar starrer Sudigadu is gearing up for its big release on August 24. Bheemineni Srinivasa Rao has directed this full length spoof film and Chandrasekhar Reddy is producing the film on Arundhathy Movies banner. The film has a caption 'Oka ticket pai 100 cinemalu'. Recently, Allari Naresh revealed that they have spoofed more than 100 films made in the last two decades and the film is said to be a complete laugh riot. Already, the film's trailer and publicity posters have been making a lot of buzz. Sri Vasanth has composed the music.

The great S.V.Ranga Rao garu has a unique legacy in the film industry. He is widely acknowledged as one of the most talented actors ever to grace the silver screen here. Now his grandson, Jr. SVR, has come forward to carry on the legacy of his illustrious grandfather. 'Mr. 7′ happens to be his debut vehicle and it is his own production. Neelam Upadhyay is the heroine in the movie. Let us see how the film is

Story :

Lakshman (Jr SVR) is a car thief with a sentiment. He only steals cars which have the number'7′ . He comes across Nakshatra (Neelam Upadhyay) and falls deeply in love with her. Nakshatra also responds to his love, but her father comes to know about their affair. He imposes the condition that Lakshman must prove himself to be a clean and hardworking guy. A desperate Lakshman decides to steal a Mercedes Benz and use the money to start a restaurant.

This is where he crosses the path of the evil gangster Naik (Satya). Lakshman's actions earn him the ire of Naik and he is desperately hunted by the gangster. Why does Naik hunt Lakshman? Will Lakshman succeed in his love story? That needs to be watched on screen.

Plus Points :

Neelam Upadhyay is good in her limited role. She looks cute and adds glamour to the film. Her performance in crucial scenes is alright. Srinivasa Reddy brings much needed comic relief to the whole film. His performance is good and his comedy timing is exceptional as always.

Prithvi (30 years industry) is decent in his role. Sravan plays the role of a police officer and he looks impressive in the movie. He has a decent role and his performance has promise. M.S.Narayana is ok.

Minus Points :

When you come in as the successor of a legendary actor, you need to be exceptionally careful. Unfortunately, that care was not taken by Jr. SVR. He has the height and the build, but he is far from being hero material, atleast in the present form. He needs to work a lot on his appearance, hair style, diction and action. In a debut film, atleast one aspect of the newcomer's abilities must be highlighted. It is not the case here.

The movie has a poor script and lackluster screenplay. Ridiculous song placement and poor entertainment values let the film down completely. There is nothing worthwhile in the movie to attract youngsters and students. Even the romantic track between Jr SVR and Neelam fails to excite.

All the scenes are extremely predictable, leading to boredom among viewers.

Technical Values :

Cinematography is alright. Editing is average and production values are just about ok. Background music is decent, but the songs are very routine. Picturization of songs and choreography leaves a lot to be desired.

Dialogues are very ordinary. Charan Reddy fails to make a favourable impression in the direction and screenplay departments.

Verdict :

I have great respect and admiration for S.V.Ranga Rao garu and I sincerely hoped for a good debut from Jr. SVR. But sadly, this is not the case. 'Mr.7′ is a very ordinary and unexciting film which does not do much to enhance the hero's image. Perhaps, with time and effort, Jr SVR will get another opportunity to prove himself.

In the run up to the release, Jism 2 had a lot going for it. It had the infamous Sunny Leone in the lead role and some steamy scenes were used to cut the promos. Expectations were naturally sky high and the Bhatt family marketed the movie well. Produced and directed by Pooja Bhatt, Jism 2 has Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh in the lead roles opposite Sunny Leone. Let us see how the film is.

Story :

Izna (Sunny Leone) is an adult actress who is cheated and abandoned by the notorious Kabir (Randeep Hooda) .As a dejected Izna goes about wasting her life, in comes Special Agent Ayaan (Arunoday Singh). He convinces her to work for the country and requests her to go after Kabir once again. After a little prodding, Isna agrees and together, they devise a plan to snare Kabir.

The movie shifts to Sri Lanka where Kabir is now based. Through a series of well planned encounters, Izna slowly gets back into Kabir's life. A suspicious Kabir tries to check her out, but finding nothing, he falls completely for her and passion takes over.

But just as Kabir starts trusting Izna, conflicts of interest pop up. Betrayal, suspicion and jealousy come into the story. Whom does Izna really love? Is Kabir really in love with Izna? What happens to Ayaan? That forms the story.

Plus Points :

All three of the leading stars have good bodies. That is about the only positive aspect that I can think of in this movie. Sunny Leone does appear quite seductive in a few frames and the locations are quite grand.

Minus Points :

The film has so many flaws that one wonders if it really was shot seriously. Terrible performances from everyone, including the very talented Randeep Hooda, add to the pain. Sunny Leone can't act. Period. She is wooden, has no capability to emote and looks ridiculous when she tries to cry.

Randeep Hooda, who is normally quite a talented actor, has the look of helplessnessthroughout the film. His expressions are so bad that it is almost as if he knows the movie is doomed. And Arunoday Singh is utterly clueless about where to shout and where to cry. So he uses a combination of both irrespective of whether the scene demands it.

The 'story', if you can call it that, is terribly poor. It is almost as if Pooja and Mahesh Bhatt were trying to fill in some lines between the mandatory romance sequences. Coming to the so called 'hot scenes', don't be fooled. There are a few passionate lip locks,but that is about it. There is no emotion behind the lovemaking scenes and they are too brief to make an impact.

Many of the scenes are predictable, cliched and yawn inducing.

Technical Aspects :

Nigam Bomzan's cinematography is one of the sole saving graces of the film. The visuals are good and the locations are grand. Editing is pathetic and screenplay is terrible. Background score is just passable and none of the songs make a lasting impression. Production values are good.

Pooja Bhatt fails miserably as a director. This movie is so bad that it is almost laughable.

Verdict :

'Jism2′ is a poor excuse of a film. It is a haphazard marketing plan put together to create a buzz through the adult star Sunny Leone and make some quick money, without doing too much hard work. There is nothing in the movie, even for voyeurs. It is terribly boring, cliched and outdated. Avoid 'Jism 2′. If you are mad about Sunny Leone, there are better ways to indulge your passion.
