A.R.Rahman is known to be a very pious and God-fearing man. On Sunday evening around 7pm, he visited the ‘Dargah’ opposite the LIC Towers in Mount Road, Chennai and spent close to 15 minutes praying at the mosque. He didn’t create any flutter or panic among the other worshipers and just came in a simple manner like any other common man.

After completing his prayers, he came out and distributed alms to the poor and needy outside the mosque and left. The onlookers must have been a pleasantly surprised lot for sure.

Telugu movies are slowly gaining prominence in Tamil Nadu with big star movies like Dookudu, Gabbar Singh and Eega.  Eega had a splendid run here. Julayi was another film that win the hearts of Tamil people.Now another macho hero from tollywood Prabhas’  movie Rebel directed  Raghavendra Lawrence and stars the very popular Tamannah and Deeksha Seth opposite Prabhas is ready to show its stamina .The Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of this movie have been sold for 33 lakhs. This is a new record for Prabhas whose previous film was sold for just 11 lakhs here. The presence of Tamannah and Lawrence might have pushed the rates but it just proves the growing market for Telugu films in the state.

Trisha is getting lots of Hindi offers which have kissing sequences. One of such film has Imran Hashmi in the lead role. Trisha who heard the story was shocked because her role in that film was so sexy and also had kissing sequences. Actress Trisha refused to act in such films.

There is news that Telugu actor Raana and Trisha are deeply in love and they will be getting married soon. It is understood that Trisha is very careful in choosing her role because of this. She has told all the directors that she will not act in kissing sequences.

Sudigadu heroine  Monal Gajjar reportedly collapsed on the sets in Trivandrum recently. The actress who is now enjoying the success of her Telugu hit 'Suddigadu', supposedly suffered from indigestion which led to the unfortunate situation and the shooting being suspended. The good news is that she is out of danger and will be back in action at the very earliest.

Prakash Raj has become prominent actor in Bollywood after 'Singham' and 'Dabangg 2' .He also will be seen in the highly anticipated 'Bhaag Milka Bhaag', starring Farhan Akthar reprising the role of the famed Indian olympian 'The Flying Sikh' Milka Singh, has Prakash Raj in an important role as an army officer.

A news to all Power Star’s fans.The release of The Movie starring Pawan Kalyan and Tammanah ‘Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu’ has postponed because the theaters aren’t available as so many movies are releasing before.
Initially it was said that the film would be released on October 11th but it got postponed to 18th October.On this day only the film will release.

So, Pawan Kalyan’s fans have to wait for another week!!!

He has decided to give 2.5 lakhs to each of the nine participants and 5 lakhs to the medal winner H.N.Girisha, who had won a silver medal in the high jump.

He has also offered to his Facebook followers, a way for them to contribute as well. A good initiative from Bollywood’s ‘bhai’ indeed!

Allari Naresh is riding high with the success of Sudigadu .His next film is Yamudiki Mogudu which is almost completed its shooting part except a song. The unit will  now move to Switzerland on October 2 to 5th to shoot a song on Allari Naresh and Richa Panai . Post production and graphic work has already commenced for this film, which is directed by E Sattibabu. Yamudiki Mogudu's audio will be launched by this month end, and the makers are gearing up for a Vijayadasami release. Music has been composed by Koti as Shahji Shinde, Ramya Krishna, Naresh and Krishna Bhagawan will be seen in pivotal roles.

As a mark of genuineness, the filmmakers have revealed that this movie is indeed a reproduction of the Thai cult horror film ‘Alone’ for which they have legally acquired the remake rights.It is quite a refreshing sign when filmmakers duly acknowledge their source of inspiration and give it the mention and credit that it deserves.'Alone' is the tale of a deceased siamese twin returning to haunt her surviving sibling.

Ram Charan has  proved his stamina with Rachcha. Now another latest information is that his stamina again proved with his new movie 'yevadu' was sold out to an all time record price of Rs.1.95 crores for Nellore area, sources say. Leela Mohan Reddy has bought the movie's rights here. Earlier, Ram Charan's 'Naayak' was sold out to Rs.1.89 crores and that was an all time record then. So, Ram Charan has beaten his own record through 'Yevadu'.Female leads for this film are Samantha and Amy Jackson.

Allu Arjun and Kajal Agarwal will be doing cameo roles in this movie. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music of this action thriller. The movie is being directed by Vamsi Pydipalli and is being produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations. The movie is slated for summer, 2013 release

It was reported that Mahesh Babu is new brand ambassador of Mahindra co. Trivikram Srinivas is directing this ad. The shoot began few days ago and the latest news is that it's going to be shot at Annapurna Seven Acres, Hyderabad .Mahesh Babu one of the top celebrities from the South . Mahindra has signed him as their brand ambassador is proof enough of his celabrity status. Apart from this, he's also endorsing other brands like Thums Up, IDEA, Josalukkas, Vivel and Santoor.

After completing the shoot, Mahesh Babu will join the sets of Sukumar's film. Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopichand, who had earlier produced Dookudu, are producing this film as well. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music.

Hero turned Villan Navdeep Production House, RAW is all set to work with  Sushmitha Sen’s I AM SHE for a talent hunt show and beauty pageant exclusively for the four Southern states of India which will be broadcast on TV. Auditions will be held in the four major Southern cities and ten contestants will be selected to represent Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh. Kerala and Karnataka.

The contestants will be taken to an exotic location outside the country where they will be groomed and asked to compete in gruelling rounds to determine the winner. The lucky winner will then get a direct entry into the I AM SHE pageant conducted by Ms Sen which will bring her one step closer to achieving her dream of becoming Miss India and then, Miss Universe!

The official announcement was made by Navdeep and Sushmitha Sen in a press meet held at Leonia resort, Hyderabad. Arjun Ramphal and Shilpa Reddy were also there to glam up the event and show their support.

Hansika Motwani roped for a Tamil Movie which is a remake of the Telugu hit Ishq. This film would be
produced by noted actress and politician Jayapradha. Hansika fell in love with the original and had no
hesitations in signing a remake of the same. The original was a proven hit and this made her decision even easier.
Jayapradha’s nephew Siddharth would be introduced as the hero in this remake opposite Hansika. Rajashekar will direct this film which is expected to be produced on a grand scale. Nithya Menon did Hansika’s role in the original, that of a bubbly and cheerful girl.

Hero Raja will bebeen seen in a movie titled Hostel Days. The movie was launched yesterday in Ramoji Film City . Hostel Days will be a film based on the life of every girl who has lived in a hostel during her studies.The movie is directed by P C Reddy and produced by Alladi Sridhar. Hostel Days will be shot completely in Ramoji Film City, except for two songs. Gazal is being introduced as the lead heroine with this film, which also has Jaya Praksha Reddy, Babu Mohan and Suman Shetty in major roles.

According to filmnagar news ‘sudden star’Allari Naresh has suddenly increased remuneration from Rs 1.50 Crores to 2.50 Crores. Till now he took Rs 1.50 Crores to the maximum per movie. He has been darling of producers who plan modestly budgeted movies. But he’s become costly to them, yet they are no complaining as his films are now doing business of Rs 10 Crores plus.
