Soon after her landing, Aditya Chopra was spotted walking out of the airport. There was a five minutes of gap between Aditya and Rani's arrival.

It is known that they were arriving after a grand New Year getaway. Rani was looking quite happy and from her movement, it was highly speculated that the tensions between Rani and Chopra is slowly narrowing and the senior Chopras are ready to accept Rani as their bahurani.

Aditya has filed a divorce case from his first wife Payal and the divorce has not yet been settled as the alimony that Payal demanded was quite huge.

Quotable quotes by our favourite motormouth madam: Rakhi Sawant

Telly land's favourite controversy queen Rakhi Sawant may be or may not be known for her acting or dancing skills, but we are sure that she will always be famous for the spicy, tangy, sensational statements she makes faster than she blinks her thickly mascaraed eyes. Here's a quick read through the lines she entertained us with last year

Vidya Balan refuses to play second fiddle

Posted: 03 Jan 2012 07:09 AM PST

Despite the good money on offer and the stamp of a commercial film, Vidya has rejected the role in Shootout At Wadala. Reason: The Dirty Picture actor doesn't want to get lost in a film that's overcrowded with leading men

Success, just like failure, changes many things. It certainly did change a few things for Vidya Balan. Riding high on the success of The Dirty Picture's BO success, the 34-year-old is not keen on doing films that give more prominence to the male stars. Vidya was supposed to play underworld don Manya Surve's girlfriend in Sanjay Gupta's Shootout at Wadala but now it doesn't seem like a good idea to the actor anymore. Vidya's agendas have definitely gone through a sea change after being applauded for her Silk Smitha act by the audience and critics alike. Vidya has now decided that she won't play a regular Bollywood heroine in a male-centric film. Calling it a natural progression, she says that she wants to essay more challenging and powerful roles than the one offered to her by Sanjay Gupta. Interestingly, Ekta Kapoor, the producer The Dirty Picture, who played a pivotal role in Vidya's success story, is also the producer of Shootout at Wadala. But we hear that this time Vidya had to say a firm no to the television soap queen. Will this refusal to act in Shootout at Wadala sour Vidya's friendship with Ekta? It definitely could, considering we know that Ms Kapoor doesn't take such rejections lying down! And will being so choosy affect Vidya's soaring career? Well, only time will tell!

KLPD: Vivek Oberoi's diction trainer walks out on him

Posted: 02 Jan 2012 09:26 PM PST

After being made to wait for hours everyday

Vivek Oberoi, whose 2012 calendar is packed with a bunch of projects, seems to need a lesson or two about punctuality in the industry.

After ticking off Salman Khan, a few years ago, Vivek has managed to irk his diction tutor. The actor has been taking lessons in diction for Kismet, Love Paisa, Dilli (KLPD).

Says a source, "Vivek has been shooting for Krrish currently. Unfortunately, he used to end up spending hours trying to learn his lines and for his make-up and costume. He used to shoot through the night and therefore could hardly dedicate any time to his tutor."

The tutor would end up spending time on the sets doing nothing much. Adds the source, "If this was a one off case, it would be understandable. But this happened almost every day. Finally he decided to walk out on him."

This has now put the producers of KLPD in a fix, considering they will start shooting in a month and getting his diction right was very important.

Adds the source, "Vivek realises that he wasn't able to manage time properly in this case, so he has decided to train himself."

The actor has apparently decided to reach the sets of KLPD an hour before the call time, just to practise his diction. Better late than never.

Kya Yahi Sach Hai - Review by Mansha Rastogi

Posted: 02 Jan 2012 03:26 PM PST

Despite being well-intentioned, Kya Yahi Sach Hai ends up being an avoidable fair.
- Mansha Rastogi    Thu, 29 Dec 2011 A year that turned out to be quite a potpourri of good and bad films is almost close to its end. The filmy mills have shut shops and tuned into the reverie of the season. Even the cinegoers are busy bringing in the New Year. But to break the reverie comes in a film Kya Yahi Sach Hai that boasts of shaking our belief in the law and political system. The promotional tactics of the film have been to question every current political and social issue raising a question as if the film were to answer it.

Kya Yahi Sach Hai essentially is a film about a righteous IPS officer Raghu Kumar (Rajiv Roda) who intends to bust every possible corrupt racket plaguing India. And in a typical Ardh Satya, Shool, Gangajal fashion, Raghu becomes a threat for Politicians and Senior Officers who keep transferring him from one case to the other, one department to another or even from city to city.

But as I mentioned it was essentially. Courtesy our filmmaker YP Singh's vengeful saga (please note, the man worked as a cop in real life and wanted to unearth the on-going corruption in the system) the film turns out to be a torturous product that challenges your film viewing sensibilities and endurance levels.

Kya Yahi Sach Hai kickstarts with a never ending Police March scene and within 5 minutes (of the film actually starting) strays from its plot meandering into unknown regions, for unknown reasons with unknown intentions. The audience is subjected to a series of flashbacks within flashbacks that too of random characters.

After enough digression, YP Singh once again decides to turn back to his somewhere in the passing lost main tirade. The second half though sticks to the point, doesn't make for half a decent watch owing to the unnecessary plots thrown on you in the first half. There's hardly any two and two put together in this script. Only if YP Singh could pay an extra sum and hire a decent writer and a director!

The film puts you off at the very onset owing to faulty acting or rather the lack of any existing merit to the very word. Each and every actor appears blank as if a teleprompter is shoved on their faces and they are made to recite the lines one after the other.

The background score is nothing but the loud works of orchestra or a band that usually is used at Military marches and is wrongly placed over scenes that don't require them. The least said about the music the better.

Over all, despite being well-intentioned, Kya Yahi Sach Hai ends up being an avoidable fair.

Tanuja, Kajol and Tanisha had been for dinner at Hakkasan restaurant in a posh locality in Mumbai on Tuesday. According to Ajay Beri, COO, Hakkasan Mumbai, Tanuja wanted the extra food to be packed.
