Actor Akshay Kumar, coming out in support of Mahendra Singh Dhoni after the India captain received criticism over his bad performance in the Australia series, said everyone has to face good and bad phases in life.

"Dhoni, don't worry, true lovers of Indian cricket are behind you in every step of the way man. Everyone's gotta hit Rock Bottom, it's the only way one can storm it back to the Top... just think about the series, day by day, dear friend. Everything else comes later dude... (sic)," the 44-year-old posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.

"Everyone let's back the Boyz we love so much, come on, none of us are perfect at our jobs everyday of the month, it's support they need not criticism. Do what you can Boyz, India's waiting for you & always with you," he further posted.

India lost the third test against Australia by an innings and 37 runs in Perth Sunday and before that they faced a whitewash in England last year.

The bad performance on the field has upset the cricket fans and others who are blaming Dhoni's laid-back attitude for the losses.

Interestingly, if reports are to be believed, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are planning to host a party for Oprah when she visits Mumbai during her tour. Both Aishwarya and Abhishek have appeared on Oprah's show.

Also, Oprah is keen to meet Beti B as per sources.

International talk show queen Oprah Winfrey has reportedly landed in Mumbai and will meet a variety of well-known figures and celebrities Monday at a dinner hosted by socialite Parmeshwar Godrej.

It was reported that Winfrey is headed to India, but her arrival date was kept under wraps. It is not known when she arrived in the city.

That she is here became known only when novelist and columnist Shobhaa De posted a tweet saying, "Looking forward to meeting the Big O (Oprah) tonight! She is the most amazing, inspiring, influential woman on planet earth. Welcome to Mumbai!"

Sameera Reddy also tweeted: "Looking forward to meeting Oprah Winfrey at a dinner hosted by Parmeshwar Godrej tonight! I'm a huge fan of hers."

In an earlier tweet, De wrote: "Oprah to be hosted in Mumbai at a swish black tie dinner on the 16th. The party isn't being thrown by any of the wannabe socialites. Guess who?"

According to reports, socialite Parmeshwar Godrej is hosting the party for the 57-year-old iconic lady at her Mumbai residence. The guest list has been kept under wraps.

However, there is buzz that Winfrey might meet Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, whom she hosted on her popular talk show. She might also meet Beti B.

"Oprah is coming here to shoot a documentary and she has expressed a desire to meet. She is always very respectful and very loving towards both of us and it'll be wonderful to meet her," Abhishek had said.

This is Winfrey's first visit to India and she is also expected to attend the Jaipur Literature Festival scheduled for later this month.

The visit is largely a part of her new show "Next Chapter", which will see Winfrey travelling around the world and interviewing celebrities. She is accompanied on her India trip by spiritual guru Deepak Chopra.

Priyanka Chopra not invited by Gauri Khan at christmas party

Mumbai, Friday 30th of December 2011 (BSNS) Rumors have been afloat that Shahrukh and Priyankas close proximity is not going down well with the superstars wife Gauri.

Now buzz has it that Priyanka was deliberately left out of couple's big Christmas party at Mannat on Saturday night.

Sources reveal that Gauri had been hearing about Piggy Chops obsession for SRK. In fact, this had even affected couple's married life.

Hence, Gauri decided not to extent the invitation to the Chopra girl.

A source said, It was not a slip-up. She was deliberately left out. Gauri called everyone from the ' Don 2 ' unit but her.

Others who had been invited included Karan Johar, Hrithik-Sussanne, Arjun-Mehr, Chunkey-Bhavna Riteish-Genelia, Mahesh-Lara, Karisma Kapoor, and Malaika Arora Khan.

Priyanka's absence at the party didn't go unnoticed and some people were overheard discussing it in hushed tones. At first everyone assumed that she would arrive later, but after a point it was clear that she wasn't arriving as she hadn't been invited, added the source.

Priyanka missed the party for family?
However, Priyanka's friends have denied the rumors saying that the actress decided to miss the party to spend time with her family members who were leaving for holidays.

Even Priyanka tweeted, Toooo early to wake up man!ESP when Christmas spirts in the house..My family's been leaving for our holiday in installments since 3 days.ha!

Now home alone.. BooHoo! But working like crazy so will try and compensate for missing them, she further added.

Gauri snubbed Priyanka at Eid bash
Well, this is not the first time that Priyanka has been kept away from a party at Mannat.

Even when the actress attended the Eid celebrations at the Khan home, she was snubbed by Gauri.

Reportedly, Gauri, who was chatting away with her group of close friends, didnt even bother to say a hello to the actress.

In fact an insider had informed, At one point, when Hrithik went to greet her, Gauri came and pulled him away to join another group. PC was pointedly left alone.

Kangna Ranaut plays Evil Girl in Krrish 2

Mumbai, Thursday 15th of December 2011 (BSNS) According to the latest B-town buzz, Kangna Ranaut, who is all set to play the role of an evil supergirl in Rakesh Roshan's ' Krrish 2', has been asked to shed five kilos in order to get into her costume.

For her role in the film, the actress will be wearing a special body hugging costume that is being made out of a plastic-like material.

Buzz has it that Kangnas designer Gavin Miguel has sourced the material from the United States. In fact, it's learnt that the team sourced to make her outfit is the same that designs Lady Gaga's costumes.

Confirming about Kangnas costume, a source from the unit said that the actress will have to apply a special kind of oil to get into the costume.

Meanwhile, the designer is still working on the intricacies of the costume, which he hopes will be easier for Kangna to get in and out of.

When contacted, the designer stated, "It is more like a second skin. Since it's a completely body-hugging costume, we require a fabric that stretches and fits perfectly.

"Hence a lubricant-based oil has to be applied on the body before getting into it. We're still in the testing stages because the costume should not be suffocating."

Kangna is pinning her hopes on ' Krrish 2 '
Sources close to the actress reveal that she is upbeat about her role and is quite confident that it will prove to be good for her career.

Kangna wasnt too happy about her role in Kites, but the ' Krrish 2 ' team has worked with a bound script, and she is confident about getting a better role here, stated the source.

Hrithik missing first schedule of ' Krrish 2 '
According to the last reports, Hrithik Roshan will not be part of the first schedule of the Krrish sequel due to his severe back pain.

The actor has been advised to abstain from any stunts and take rest for the some time before the official shooting starts.

A source close to the film said that the first schedule required the actor to do stunts, however now the actor cannot be part of the first schedule of the shoot due to his back pain.

It was originally planned for 30 days but now it has reduced to 20 days. Vivek Oberoi, Priyanka Chopra and Kangna Ranaut will shoot for this period, " said the source.

Heavy snowfall in Himachal Pradesh has left the crew of LOOTERA stranded. The shooting of the keenly awaited Ranveer Singh - Sonakshi Sinha starrer film was ruined due excessive snowfall in Gawar (3 km from Dalhousie), resulting in the cancellation of the film's second schedule. The first schedule was completed in Mumbai in December 2011.

It became evident from the Balaji CEO's tweet that Ranveer Singh was stranded in Jammu for one or two days. And after reaching Dalhousie he realised that the shoot had been called off as the set was damaged. The unit is expected to return to Mumbai and proceed to Kolkata thereafter to shoot the next schedule. The Himachal schedule is likely to take place later, once the severe weather conditions eases out.

Co-producer Vikas Bahl of Phantom Productions confirmed, "Snow has created havoc. We are assessing the way forward."

The cancellation of the current shooting schedule is not expected to impact the film's release on October 26 [Bakri Eid].

The play makes a comeback after 23 years. The original production was directed by Shafi Inamdar, and was adapted in Gujarati by Arvind Joshi.
